Position: Sales Development Representative

Phase Pacific is a well-established technology company, representing global companies which are market leaders in Test, Security, and Automation for networks and applications. Since commencing operations in 2003, Phase Pacific has been supplying and supporting best in class test, security and automation solutions to major enterprise, Telco’s, Banks and government departments across Australia. We are committed to helping our customers maximise resources, reduce cost, increase revenue and gain customer loyalty.

The trend to implement greater automation to manage and deploy networks, test labs, datacentres, in conjunction with the growth in SD-WAN deployments in Australia, we see an opportunity to grow our network test and automation business. We seek a highly motivated Salesperson to join our team and together benefit from this opportunity. The role will focus on selling our portfolio of test and automation products such as WAN emulators, traffic generators, automated Layer 1 switching, and lab orchestration software.

We seek a highly energetic, self-motivated salesperson who has experience in selling networking solutions, network test solutions or network automation solutions into Telco’s, Enterprise, and Defence.

Key responsibilities
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold calling
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and grow sales in assigned accounts
  • Prepare and present customer proposals and quotations.
  • Work with the technical team to establish and manage demonstrations or Proof of Concepts.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in our CRM of all sales activities.
  • Ability to work autonomously from a home office
  • Interstate travel will be a requirement of the role
Skills and experience
  • A minimum of 2 years in a technical sales role.
  • Proven success prospecting into new markets and generating leads
  • Experience carrying and over-achieving a quarterly/annual quota
  • Ability to grasp new technologies and be able to communicate the concepts.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to listen and identify customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs and sales results.
  • A knowledge of networking concepts desirable.
